Skills, artistry, performances, and contemplation on how all those things come together, in a restful, beautiful environment.
Fourteen days, four concerts: song recitals, evenings of orchestral concert previews, and concerts featuring every single attendee with orchestra. Voice lessons, Italian diction intensives, movement, classes on role preparation, nutrition, poetry, memorization, and more. Activities will take place on the grounds of the beautiful San Francesco della Vigna church and convent, which was finished in 1554 and still serves as a working monastery of the Franciscan order.
Sull'Aqva is the brain child of Italian soprano Francesca Paola Geretto and her two friends Dr. Suzanne Ramo and Twyla Robinson. It is a short period of time during the summer in beautiful Venice where you can work on who you are and what you can bring as a classical vocal artist, in an environment that is safe and nurturing, yet rigorous. It's a place to explore your purpose and learn how to get closer to it.
We are thrilled to be working and performing by the church and convent of San Francesco della Vigna in the heart of Venice. To learn more about this amazing place, click the button below.
